Vintage African Dogon Mali Indigo Resist Dyed Mudcloth Cotton Square Pillow with Airplane

So charmed by the super rare vintage African Dogon indigo dyed fabric with airplanes used to make this pillow!

This pillow made from vintage African Dogon indigo cotton fabric resist dyed with patterns of stripes, checks, and airplanes. Features same fabric on both sides and a zippered closure.

Pillow comes with cover and insert. 
- Cover alone measures 14.5" wide x 14.5" high.
- Pillow cover with 18" x 18" insert (as pictured) measures 14.5" wide x 14.5" high x approximately 5" deep. Insert has a cotton cover and 100% polyester fill.

Vintage indigo fabric is backed with new heavy-weight cotton canvas for reinforcement.

Inside pillow cover edges are serged with over-locking stitches to help prevent fraying.

The vintage fabric has some areas of slight discoloration and a couple of small repairs done with the same fabric reflective of its age and history.
