Vintage Japanese Indigo Dyed Floral Mum Katazome Lumbar Pillow

Bring joy to your home with this delightful vintage Japanese indigo katazome (resist-dyed) pillow with repeating mums that seem to dance across the fabric. In Japanese culture, mums represent longevity and rejuvenation.

Pillow comes with cover and insert. 
- Pillow with insert measures 11" high x 17" wide.
- Pillow cover with 12" x 21" insert (as pictured) measures 11" high x 17" wide x approximately 4" deep. Insert has a cotton cover and 65% polyester and 35% cotton fill.

Same fabric on both sides.

Vintage exterior katazome fabric is backed with heavy-weight new cotton canvas for reinforcement.

Inside pillow edges are serged with over-locking stitches to help prevent fraying.

Invisible zipper hidden in seam for easy removal as needed.

One small hand-repaired, sashiko stitched area measuring approximately 1/4".
